Your story has the potential to resonate deeply with others, and will inform priorities and strategies for poverty reduction in Golden and Area A. They will be anonymously compiled to help build empathy and understanding, while challenging misconceptions and stereotypes.

As advocates for change, we recognize the power of personal narratives in fostering empathy, understanding, and ultimately, inspiring action. If you are a resident of Golden or Area who has struggled to make ends meet, we invite you to share your ideas, struggles, successes and experiences to inform community action.
Community Well-Being Survey
This confidential online survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete, and is designed to fill gaps in community data with your personal lived experiences and insight. Some respondents will be randomly selected to receive a $100 grocery gift card.

Confidential Interview
Share your story with a member of our Listening Team or a trusted service-provider through a confidential, one-on-one conversation. These interviews will take between 60 to 90 minutes, and you will receive a $40 compensation for your time.

Art + Storytelling Forum
Join us for a free community art and storytelling workshop at the Civic Center on Saturday, July 6, 2024. Supplies will be provided for expression through different mediums, and you may choose to create independently or in collaboration with local artists.
